Welcome to Witham Housing Association - committed to the provision of sheltered housing for older people

Witham Housing Association was founded in 1968 by thirteen local people committed to the provision of sheltered housing for older people. 

We continue to provide affordable sheltered accommodation for senior living from our two central locations in Witham Essex, Noel Pelly House and Podsbrook House. The Association is a non-profit making housing association registered with the Financial Conduct Authority and the Regulator of Social Housing. 

It is governed by a Board of Management, including tenant representatives, and employs a House Manager who provides support to its 40+ residents.

There are no Covid restrictions in place, and the communal areas are now fully open, but do take care as Covid is still prevalent. Taking action to help prevent the spread of germs is always sensible, so continue to take the normal precautions, including use of the hand sanitisers provided. Mask wearing is not compulsory, but we would expect visiting health and welfare visitors to continue to do so.
